The most common faults
Laptops that won't turn on or shut down by themselves, won't charge or only charge when you wiggle the cable, overheat and get noisy, cracked or striped screens, unresponsive keys, worn-out batteries and computers that take minutes to boot. Many of these have a simpler and cheaper fix than you might think.
If your laptop won't turn on
A laptop showing no signs of life may have a charger, charging port, battery or motherboard problem. We measure it with a bench power supply and multimeter to find where power stops: often it is a MOSFET, a fuse or a charging IC that can be replaced without swapping the whole board.
Slow and overheating computers
Built-up dust and dried thermal paste make the processor run hot, throttle and keep the fan spinning. A thorough clean with new thermal paste — and often swapping the hard drive for an SSD or adding RAM — makes a computer that is several years old run smoothly again for much less than a new one.
How it works
Tell us what is wrong by phone, WhatsApp or the form. We inspect it, explain the fault and give you a quote before repairing. If the repair isn't worth it, we tell you and help you recover your files.

FAQ
How much does a laptop repair cost?
It depends on the fault. A clean with new thermal paste or an SSD upgrade is affordable; a screen or a motherboard repair costs more. We give you a quote before doing anything.
My laptop won't turn on — can it be fixed?
It is almost always worth checking. Often it is the charger, the charging port or a specific motherboard component that can be replaced.
Will I lose my files?
In most repairs the drive is not touched. If the fault affects storage or the system needs reinstalling, we tell you first and, where possible, back up your data.
Is an SSD worth it in an old laptop?
In most cases, yes: it is the most noticeable upgrade. A computer that took minutes to boot starts in seconds, for a fraction of the price of a new laptop.
